Effect of Sanbio VITAL on recovery of root-knot nematode infested pepper (Nabil Zayen, Tunisia)

Békalta, Tunisia (March 06, 2015) – Root-knot nematodes, RKNs (Meloidogyne species and races) are widely distributed throughout the irrigated agricultural areas in Tunisia.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of ferti-activator Sanbio VITAL on treatment of root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne incognita), recovery and productive performance of pepper plants.

Two applications were made with a time interval of 14 days. Each application was made with a product rate of 0.5 Liter Sanbio VITAL (1st product generation) diluted in 50 liters of water per 512 m² glasshouse area onto ground. The total product rate was respectively 20 L per hectare.  The glasshouse was planted with 1,200 pepper plants.
