Gafsa, Tunisia (Februar 12, 2016) – The aim of the study is to evaluate the performance of ferti-activators Sanbio EPSOMIT and Sanbio PLANTA on the productivity of lettuce variety ´Iceberg´ in open-field production in Tunisia.
This project is being carried out as part of the cooperation between Sté SOCIETE PRIMEURS DE MEDITERRANÉEN „PRIMED“ – Tunisia, SGDAI General Society for Agricultural and Industrial Development – Tunisia and SANBOS GmbH – Germany.

SANBIO product mix has shown very positive effects on plants and production.
A few weeks after the first and second application of Sanbio EPSOMIT and Sanbio PLANTA we found good vegetation, growth and vigor of plants in treated plot. After two applications of 2 kg of Sanbio EPSOMIT and 2kg Sanbio PLANTA in experimental lots we increased the production of lettuce +4.45t/ha (+16.677%) compared to control lot. Furthermore the average weight of head has increase at 50g (+8.34%) and finally the percentage of saleable lettuce has increased at 5% from 65% to 70%.
